HISTORY OF THE HOFFMAN QUADRINITY PROCESS

ROBERT HOFFMAN (1921-1997): Bob Hoffman was the founder of the Hoffman Quadrinity Process. Renowned for his intuitive capacities, he was a gifted and generous man dedicated to awakening people to the shining and magnificent power of love that dwells within each of us. He believed that unconditional love was the birthright of every human being. Mr. Hoffman embedded his profound yet elegantly simple theory of the Negative Love Syndrome into this powerful experiential learning modality known as the Hoffman Quadrinity Process.

THE BEGINNINGS: The theoretical underpinnings of the Quadrinity Process were originated by Bob Hoffman in 1967. In 1972 he began working with groups in a structured 13-week format comprised of twice weekly four-hour meetings, assignments between sessions and one-to-one work between students and teachers. In 1985, Mr. Hoffman re-designed the Quadrinity Process into the current 7 and a half-day intensive. The quadrinity refers to the four interactive aspects of one’s self: physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual, and provides a dynamic model for understanding human behavior. The aim of the Hoffman Process is to create a harmonious integration of the four aspects of self resulting in documented lsting positive change for participants. At various times in its history this work has been referred to as the Fischer-Hoffman Process, the Hoffman Process, the Hoffman Quadrinity Process, the Quadrinity Process, and the Quadrinity Intensive Process. The Hoffman Institute International and its licensed affiliates are the only duly authorized presenters and trained teachers of this work.

The transformational 7 and a half-day Hoffman Quadrinity Process is presented in thirteen countries, in 6 languages – English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian – to some 5000 participants each year. 60,000 people worldwide have participated in the Hoffman Quadrinity Process.
